Would you rather spend $54 or $230?

So apparently 2k announced that they are releasing an epic crap-ton of PC games on Steam in one super pack for $54. My first thought was "Okay, sure, but they're all probably stupid ones no one wants," umm..WRONG. All I had to see was Bioshock and I caught a case of the gimme-gimmes. Check out the list of games on here:

Sid Meier's Civilization IV
Sid Meier's Civilization III Complete
Sid Meier's Pirates!
Shattered Union
CivCity: Rome
Civilization IV: Warlords
Sid Meier's Railroads!
Railroad Tycoon 3
Railroad Tycoon II Platinum
X-COM: Terror From the Deep
X-COM: Apocalypse
X-COM: Interceptor
X-COM: UFO Defense
X-COM: Enforcer
Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword
Freedom Force
Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich
Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Colonization

Sure, aside from Bioshock I really have no interest, but that's not the point. Getting each of these games individually would cost you SO much more. I think it's destiny, since I have been wanting to play Bioshock again and have never played a PC game's sure to be a new experience that I'll enjoy :)

  1. NEVER played a PC game before?? And you call yourself nerdy...

The Freedom force games are decent; make your own hero with cool powers and beat stuff up to cool *WHIFF* *BAM* *POW* *SNIKT* sound/visual effects. Much like a more free form less cool Ultimate Alliance.

Civ games are all fun, Colonization was overlooked by everyone and is definitely worth a shot.

If you haven't played Pirates! it is totally worth the 50 bucks for this package. Period.

Everything else is just extra unless you had a train set as a kid or really like space games.

  2. Everyone should play X-Com UFO Defense. It's a classic game. Just look up some reviews of it!

  3. Wow look at all the civilization games! If you get that can I barrow the civ? -Tia
